- Kane FM Limited is a non-profit organisation that hopes to develop a radio service as a legitimate platform to support the local community and existing groups who require a conduit to support independent music (including former pirate DJ’s). All of the individuals involved in the service are passionate about music and some have used pirate radio as a way to air their views, opinions and more importantly their subversive sounds in the past. Currently there is a gap in the local radio market for a new, fresh local service, with a 100% NO pop policy; showcasing only local talented artists and producers that wish to play music that the community wishes to hear.
